Nature Lodge is located in a magical valley just 2 km above the town. It is surrounded by the fine views and misty hills of the Mondulkiri highlands. We offer our guests a special accommodation experience and a chance to get a real feel of this beautiful area. We were one of the first eco friendly guest houses in Cambodia. The lodge was opened five years ago. We decided to settle here at the Mondulkiri highlands and fulfill our vision of a natural, creative and peaceful life in this amazingly beautiful area. At Nature Lodge, we do our best to make all visitors feel at home.
In this peaceful place, you can relax, clear your mind and have a quiet getaway from the world; it is an ideal place for guests to practice their favorite creative hobbies or handicrafts. There is a library and musical instruments you can borrow from. A hammock up in the tree house is the best spot for enjoying a romantic sunset. You can take strolls and follow the many paths in the surrounding hillside, you may see some birds and animals, there’s a great lookout of Sen Monorom from the hill top above the lodge. At the restaurant, you can enjoy some healthy home cooking. We serve a wide variety of Khmer, Thai, Mediterranean and western food and a selection of yummy drinks and cocktails. You can listen to funky music, enjoy the atmosphere and make friends with fellow travelers from around the world. You can sit by the bonfire and watch the Milky Way glowing above along with millions of stars.

Accommodation at Nature Lodge:
We offer original quality accommodation at budget rates $ 5 - 20. Our rooms are all individual and private. Each cabin has its own ambience, garden and a lovely view from the terrace. Because we care, We do our best in order to promote some environmentally friendly ideas in the area.
There are special recycle bins in the common area.
Guests can refill and reuse their old water bottles.
The lodge is powered by a micro hydro system we have built ourselves.
In Mondulkiri, a lot of timber is wasted, as most people only use the tree core for wood planks, while the what remains of the tree is thrown away. We collect and work with those timber leftovers and reuse them for building and furniture and decoration.
Unlike many other Cambodian guest houses, you will not find any illegal luxury wooden furniture here. All of our furniture is home made from recycled timber.
We have conserved the original landscape and re-grown the native, wild trees. The native trees are an important part of the eco system; they provide food and shelter for the areas birds and animals, they help cool the earth with their shade. Before we moved here, locals would start their farm by cutting & clearing every wild tree that was on their land. Now, many locals have noticed it is much cooler under the trees and are following our example.
Over the past four years, Nature Lodge has been providing hospitality training and has helped to create dozens of eco friendly jobs in the area.

At Nature Lodge, we love animals and have pet dogs, cats, chickens, cows and horses we rescued from a life of pulling heavy loaded carts. Leaded rides can be organized. Nature
Lodge is a pet friendly hotel, as long as your pet is housetrained and safe with other animals (including cats).
