Local, shared vans leaving daily from Kratie & Stung Treng to Sen Monorom around 8.00AM. These are small, old Toyota minivans, not the newer Ford Express vans. Be aware local vans can be a crowded experience. Extra space can be secured by purchasing an extra ticket.

STUNG TRENG / KARTIE TO SEN MONOROM - TOURIST BUS VIA SNOUL
Another travel option from northern Cambodia ( Laos border, Stung Treng, Kratie ), is to get on an early bus to Snoul. From Snoul, is it possible to catch a Ford van to mondulkiri, as the vans from Phnom Penh pass through. You can call the companies to arrange seats in advance ( See Snoul to Mondulkiri ).

Be aware local vans can be a crowded experience. Extra space can be secured by purchasing an extra ticket. Ban lung / Ratanakiri van Station location is by the main market. From Southern Cambodia ( Kampot, Kep, Sihanoukville and Koh Kong ) - All transport north is done via Phnom Penh. You can travel within a day as long as you can arrive in Phnom Penh on time to catch the 1 PM vans

Coming from Hua Lu border crossing, or northern Cambodia, you can catch any express Ford van to Mondulkiri in Snoul. It is possible to call & book seats in advance. The vans usually stop at Ma Leap Mart, see map location
